Usage:

The adjustable offset (in 2 mm increments) allows the handlebar to be adapted to individual needs and use (closer to / further from the body, +/- 14 mm). By adjusting the handlebar height with the included sleeves you can achieve a more relaxed position and a more direct riding feel. These adjustable risers attach directly to the triple tree with 10 mm bolts.

Special features of the adjustable VOIGT MOTO TECHNIK handlebar risers

CNC milled and anodised:

The adjustable VMT handlebar risers are CNC milled from high-strength aluminium and anodised. A so-called "rimming" process creates a slightly textured surface. The riser is highly corrosion resistant.

BPS (bar protection system)

Protects the handlebar and prolongs the life of the handlebar and riser.

Stiffening brace for extra stability:

Many vehicles have anti-vibration rubber mounts in the triple clamp. The stiffening brace is used here to reduce twisting under high shear forces that can occur during hard use.

Safety and ABE:

Due to the enclosed ABE (general operating permit), these risers are usually exempt from registration. Please note the conditions and instructions in the ABE. The ABE is issued by the Kraftfahrt Bundesamt (Federal Motor Transport Authority) on the basis of tests carried out by a technical service (TÜV) and compliance with strict standards. The KBA number is laser engraved on the handlebar riser.

The maximum height of the handlebar riser is specified in the ABE and is vehicle specific. If a different height is fitted, the riser must be registered. The range of approx. -30 mm to +40 mm to the original height is generally not subject to registration. The information on registration requirements is written for vehicles registered in Germany.
